Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Who we are
INTENT is operated by BMC SAASY TECH LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 12454158), registered office Flat 338, 372 Old Street, London, EC1V 9LT (“we”, “us”). This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
Prices & tax
All prices shown at checkout are the total you pay. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. Blockchain network fees for your own transactions are separate, are paid from your own wallet, and never pass through us.
Immediate supply & your 14-day cancellation right
INTENT is a digital service. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would ordinarily have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. However, your subscription gives you immediate access to the service and its market-intelligence data. At checkout you expressly consent to us supplying the service immediately, and you acknowledge that once supply has begun you lose your 14-day right to cancel. We confirm this consent in your purchase receipt. This means that once your subscription starts, payments are non-refundable except as set out below or where the law requires.
No refunds
To the extent permitted by law, we do not offer refunds or credits for:
- change of mind after your subscription has started;
- partly used billing periods or unused time;
- market outcomes — losses, underperformance, or missed opportunities;
- downtime, interruptions, or defects in third-party protocols, blockchains, wallets, or networks we do not control;
- suspension or termination of your account for breach of our Terms.
You can cancel your subscription at any time; your access then continues to the end of the period you have paid for and no further payments are taken. Cancelling does not refund the current period.
Faulty digital content
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the service itself is faulty — not merely unprofitable — you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced, and where that is not possible, to an appropriate price reduction. Contact us and we will put it right.
Our right to suspend, terminate, or withdraw the service
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice, with no refund, where we reasonably believe you have breached our Terms, where your use presents a security, legal, or fraud risk, or where we are required to by law or a regulator. We may also modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature, or withdraw the service in whole or in part, at any time. If we permanently withdraw the service or terminate your subscription other than for the reasons above, your sole remedy is a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the period you have already paid for — nothing more. We are not liable for any other loss arising from suspension, modification, or withdrawal of the service.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your card issuer while continuing to hold or use access to the service, we may suspend your account while the dispute is resolved. Where a chargeback is upheld against a payment for a period you have used, we may recover the value of that use.
Enterprise & business licences
Enterprise licences (including white-label licences) are sold strictly business-to- business. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply to business purchases. Enterprise licence fees are non-refundable in full once the licence term begins, except as expressly agreed in a signed order form. Annual licences run for their full term and do not renew automatically unless agreed.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of this policy is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
