Cookies Policy

The short version
We use a very small number of cookies, and only to make the site work. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and our visitor analytics are cookieless — they set nothing on your device. This page lists everything, plainly.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to remember — like a cloakroom ticket, so the site recognises you when you come back or move between pages. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are “first-party”; cookies set by other companies through that site are “third-party”. We set only first-party cookies.
Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off, because the things they enable stop working without them:
- download_session — set when you verify your email to download the app. It keeps you signed in for downloads for up to 7 days. It is httpOnly (scripts on the page cannot read it) and sent only to us.
- intent_tenant — if you arrive through one of our partners’ branded pages, this remembers which provider you came through (for up to 90 days) so your download and sign-up stay correctly connected to that provider. It contains only the provider’s short name — nothing about you.
A word on JWTs (how we keep you signed in)
Alongside cookies, we use JWTs (JSON Web Tokens) for sign-in — for example in the Mobile Remote and the admin console. A JWT is a digitally signed note that proves “this request comes from someone who signed in” without us holding a session about you on a server. It contains no password and no keys to your money, it is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device, and it is only ever sent to us. The trading agent on your own computer holds its own token the same way — on your machine, under your control. You can remove these at any time by signing out or clearing your browser’s site data.
Analytics (cookieless — nothing stored on your device)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It is deliberately cookieless: it sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, and does not follow you to other websites — visits are counted from anonymised request data that cannot identify you. Because it stores nothing on your device, it does not require consent — but we still give you a switch: you can turn it off in the cookie banner, and we honour that choice.
Third parties
We set no third-party cookies on this site. When you pay, checkout happens on Stripe’s own pages, and Stripe sets its own cookies there under Stripe’s privacy policy. Links to blockchain explorers (like basescan.org) take you to independent sites with their own policies.
Your choices
- The cookie banner lets you accept everything or keep only the essentials — and you can change your mind any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser (the banner will ask again).
- Your browser can block or delete cookies entirely — but note the site needs its essential cookies to sign you in and deliver downloads. With cookies fully disabled, those parts will not work, and the site will tell you so.
